1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Suit Yourself Logistics, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

Suit Yourself Logistics provides courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping from the United States to Jamaica

  • Air freight and sea freight services

  • Package handling and warehousing

  • Assisted online shopping (upon request)

  • Pickup, delivery, and third-party courier services across Jamaica

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at our discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

We offer weekly shipping from the United States to Jamaica.
All shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Customs processing

  • Airline or shipping carrier schedules

  • Weather conditions

  • Inspections or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

4. Service Areas

Suit Yourself Logistics operates primarily within Jamaica, with package pickup available at designated locations and delivery options available island-wide via third-party couriers.

Additional delivery fees may apply depending on location.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

Suit Yourself Logistics assumes limited liability for loss, damage, or delay.

Responsibility begins when the package is received at our U.S. warehouse and ends when:

  • The package is delivered, OR

  • Transferred to a third-party courier or customer

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor or seller errors

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by customers

  • Packages lost before reaching our warehouse

  • Delays or damages caused by third-party carriers or customs

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging by vendors or customers.

Fragile items (including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, etc.) are shipped at the customer’s own risk, regardless of packaging.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure all shipments comply with Jamaican and international laws.

Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or illegal materials

  • Perishable food items

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited item may be confiscated or reported without refund. We assume no liability for resulting penalties.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for:

  • Accurate declarations

  • Customs duties and taxes

  • Government fees

Suit Yourself Logistics is not responsible for delays, inspections, or seizures by customs authorities.

9. Assisted Online Shopping (If Applicable)

For customers using our assisted shopping service:

  • Full payment must be made in advance

  • Customers must confirm all item details before purchase

  • Payments are non-refundable once purchase is completed

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor errors

  • Wrong sizes or items

  • Delays, cancellations, or defects

All disputes must be handled directly with the vendor.

10. Payments

We accept:

  • Bank transfers

  • Cash

  • Online payments

All payments must be completed before shipment processing.
Payments are non-refundable once processing begins.

11. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of receiving or being notified of your package.

Claims must include:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Photos (if applicable)

WhatsApp messages do not qualify as official claims unless directed.

12. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages must be collected within 7 days of notification.

  • Storage fee: $500 JMD per day after 7 days

  • Packages uncollected after 30 days may be disposed of, donated, or sold

Customers remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

13. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be made before shipment processing begins.

Once a package has been processed or shipped, cancellations are not permitted.

14. Amendments

Suit Yourself Logistics reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the full agreement between the customer and Suit Yourself Logistics and override any prior agreements or understandings.
